In late 2007, Michele Adams founded Meliora Design with the idea that creative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions could restore healthy waterways and ecosystems. Engineering informed by nature creates places that are regenerative to both our ecology and our human wellbeing.
While Meliora’s early work focused exclusively on water resources and green infrastructure, our capabilities have since expanded to provide a wide range of services to clients in all project phases, from civil and water resources engineering to stormwater engineering, planning, and master planning.
Through a culture of collaborative innovation, Meliora’s experienced team of engineers, scientists, and planners find opportunities for sustainable project outcomes, specifying alternative energy solutions and construction materials with reduced life cycle impact. We favor an integrated planning and design process to generate creative yet practical site-specific solutions and are not afraid to ask hard questions.
