Tara Dougherty Appointed to USGBC Advisory Group

Tara Dougherty, PE, has been appointed to the U.S. Green Building Council’s Sustainable Sites Technical Advisory Group; her position will start at the beginning of 2023. This advisory group helps to develop and modify the Sustainable Sites Rating System, which according to the Sustainable Sites Initiative is “a sustainability-focused framework that ushers landscape architects, engineers and others toward practices that protect ecosystems and enhance the mosaic of benefits they continuously provide our communities, such as climate regulation, carbon storage and flood mitigation.”
